In my continuing effort to break through the media blackout on 9/11, I have sent this letter to the STAR TRIBUNE. This is my second attempt to get a 9/11 letter published. Maybe if I keep trying every time a 9/11 related news item appears, I'll eventually break through.

The recent revelation that the CIA destroyed the videotapes of the interrogations of
two Al Qaida operatives -- tapes that the 9/11 Commission had requested -- means that we
do not know how crucial the tapes were to learning how 9/11 happened. But no matter.
Those who made the tapes, as well as those who conducted the "enhanced
interrogations." surely know what was on them. They should be subpoened to testify
under oath on pain of being charged with contempt.
This is only part of the possible evidence about 9/11 that is unavailabe. The families
of the 9/11 victims had to fight Bush administration opposition for over 18 months before
the 9/11 Commission was set up. Even then, 70% of their questions were left unanswered by
the Commission. The steel from the World trade Center towers was shipped off to China and
Korea to be melted down for recycling, although it is a felony to remove evidence from a
crime scene. The 11/25 - 12/9 DOWNTOWN JOURNAL published an article about the 25th
anniversary of the downtown Thanksgiving fire. The fire burned for four days in the
Northwestern National Bank building but the building did not collapse. Yet the World
Trade Center towers collapse within a few hours.
